Process Foods will cause you to overeat because the are addictive and here is why. Eating processed or highly concentrated foods will artificially stimulate dopamine (the neurotransmitter that gives us the feeling of pleasure) Basically your eating foods that lack nutrients, fiber and water but create a pleasurable feeling, which causes you to crave more of that food. Even if the food doesn’t taste that good or your full, the chemical reaction that produced the dopamine release makes you continue to eat that processed food. IE: You overeat!
